ORTSA Starlight Engine Features

  • Easily Daisy Chain

    Every Starlight Engine easily daisy chains to one another by pushing the 2 connectors together. Daisy chain up to 10 per power plug.

  • Custom Constellations/Twinkle Patterns

    Twinkling is randomized per LED, but not per fiber. This allows unique, intentional pulsing patterns and custom constellations being easily added on via our daisy chaining capabilities if desired.

  • Ultra Slim and Compact

    A patented design ensures our starlight engines are 1/5 of the thickness of similar bulky light boxes that feature a spinning disc. Our local lighting engines do not require multiple feet of wasted fiber optics and do not have to be relocated to be hidden

  • Small and Regular Models

    Choose between 84 or 250 stars per light engine without losing any functionality. Both engines are powered the same, the only difference is fiber count for smaller projects

  • Tri Tone+

    Most current DIY starlight kits are capped at single or 2 tone colors for stars. ORTSA starlight engines are controlled by 12 LEDs and allow multiple different colors that can be used at the same time to build depth

FAQ

Will star holes be visible when the lights are off in the day?

Common tier panels are smooth plastic and the fiber holes can slightly be seen from some angles during the day. Our Epic panels add perforated leather or Alcantara which hides the holes completely for a fully flush look

Can I install this myself?

Absolutely! Wall/Ceiling panels come with command strips, allowing for quick and damage free installation that anyone can perform. Simply peel off all command strip tape, then connect the 2 panels via connectors before pushing against desired surface

How do I clean and maintain panels?

Gently wiping with light alcohol wipes or damp cloths is recommended when cleaning and maintaining panels to keep leather quality

How is this powered?

Panels and headliner units are all simple wall plug ins, and headliner units can also be plugged into the fuse box via fuse tap. Per request we can also provide panels that come battery powered for mobile use.

Do you offer color matching?

Yes! We offer a one time color matching fee of $300. Once we have the color ready, pricing per panel depends on the tier of panel requested
